Use of Cookies

Web Analytics, Monitoring, and Optimization
We do not actively engage in web analytics or tracking. However, we may collect anonymized data to monitor server load and ensure stability.
Social Media Presences
We maintain online presences within social networks and process user data in this context to communicate with active users there or to provide information about us.
Please note that data may be processed outside the European Union. This may pose risks to users due to potential difficulty in enforcing their rights.
The data of users within social networks are usually processed for market research and advertising purposes. User profiles can be created based on the user behavior and interests that emerge from this. These profiles can be used to display ads within and outside the networks that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are typically stored on the users‘ devices, where the user behavior and interests are stored. Furthermore, data may also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in).

Plugins and Embedded Functions/Content
We integrate functional and content elements into our online offering that are obtained from the servers of their respective providers (hereinafter referred to as „third-party providers“). These can include, for example, graphics, videos, or social media feeds.
The integration always requires that these third-party providers process the users‘ IP addresses since they cannot send the content to the users‘ browsers without the IP address. The IP address is necessary to display this content or functionality.
We embed videos from YouTube and feeds from Twitter. These platforms may use cookies and track user behavior. For more details on how these platforms process your data, please refer to their privacy policies.
